Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba. Her family relocated to Miami at two years old. She was born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami at the age of 2 years old accompanied with her parents. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. She is currently hosting the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is a Spanish TV show that has been nominated by the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was ranked the top Spanish-language show at 4pm, for important demos. Polo was born on April 11th of 1959, Havana Cuba was a graduate of Florida International University in Political Sciences. After that, she received a PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and practiced for twenty decades in Miami. Then, after earning her PhD in law from University of Miami in law and working in the law profession in Miami city for 20 years. Polo was the first to make an appearance on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized to produce other court programs. Literature Works and Accolades 1958 novel Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to an adventure in the United States in 1960. A breast cancer survivor, Polo frequently gives speeches and helps raise funds for the causes. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights all of her life. She holds a law degree from The University of Miami School of Law, and she is an Florida Bar Member.
